Sheila Rollins spent 4 years in the restaurant business in Boston, before moving to Maine in 1982 to work as the Chef at Westways in Lovell. Shortly after, she moved to Bethel, Maine, where whe was owner/operator/and Chef of her own Miller's Inn and Bakery. After spending some time learning to fly, and originating an introductory aviation program for women, Women with Wings, she opened A Fine Kettle of Fish Restaurant in South Casco as the owner/manager and Executive Chef. The restaurant, on Sebago Lake, was extremely popular, and her customers were very disappointed when she chose to close the restaurant after 10 years. But Sheila continues the tradition now with A Fine Kettle of Fish Catering. Whether she's cooking for 400 or 4, for an extravagent wedding or as a personal chef for your family vacation, Sheila's excellent repertoire of menus and expertise in a wide range of cuisines will delight you (and your guests!)

In addition to catering, Sheila offers personal chef services, and cooking lessons in your home.

I cannot tell you how wonderful Sheila Rollins was. I selected the menu with her help. We tried to stay local and healthy. We had 3 appetizers (crab cakes, tenderloin and some type of local brie). She came over at 4:30 and gave us several plates of apps at 6:15 which we drove down to the boathouse for cocktail hour. We came back at 7:30 for dinner (greek salad, cod, potatoes and veggies). She cooked really tasty chicken tenders for the kids and we had a wonderful tart with blueberries for desert. The price was about $40 per person ($10 for the kids) plus dessert and then $40 an hour for her time. We could have paid a little more for her to do the cleanup but we decided to do that ourselves. Since she prepped most of the meal at her kitchen, there was not a lot of cleanup. Dessert was extra. We had agreed on a buffet but she ended up just serving us, which was nice. We did all the set up, including setting the table, serving the wine, etc. I’ll send you a picture of the table – it looked beautiful. Total price was $720, which included a hefty tip because we were so pleased with her. - The Blakeleys
